How to set fair boundaries with MIL?

Boundaries are essential and you and your husband have every right to set them. I would say it would be better to have your husband enforce them (since she is HIS mom) but you are totally in the right here. No one has the "right" to see your child or to come to your house-EVERYONE is there by you and your husband's good graces and they should behave accordingly.
